Niel Aveyard
Global Technical Support Manager @ Jaguar Land Rover
As the manger of JLR's Global Technical Support, my system and team provides support to all JLR Retailer Technicians in relation to vehicle (and diagnostic tool) concerns. Shaped by a growth mindset, the team constantly look for ways to develop and optimise the process, recognising any improvement made will ultimately improve the client experience. - marginal gains absolutely contribute to impact. 3 years ago I created a business case to introduce a Chatbot that would utilise AI technologies in order to support the delivery of technical support. The intent was to establish a Chat channel that could provide an immediate link between Retailer Technician and central JLR support team. This link would not only be established reactively (upon Retailer Technician request), but also proactively, (where a technician had performed an action within the diagnostic tool X times the chat for help would be offered).
