Ted Haile is a seasoned solutions engineer and AI enthusiast with deep expertise in databases, data pipelines, and generative AI. At DataStax, he helps organizations architect and deploy AI-driven solutions using the company’s core products: AstraDB/DSE (a high-performance database), Astra Streaming/Apache Pulsar (a scalable streaming data store), and Langflow (a low-code platform for building generative AI applications). By leveraging his deep understanding of database architecture, real-time data processing, and AI workflows, Ted enables businesses to make informed decisions and build scalable, production-ready AI solutions.

With 20 years of experience spanning software development, technical sales, and go-to-market strategy, Ted has worked across the database ecosystem, from Oracle and PostgreSQL to Redis and modern cloud-based NoSQL solutions. Before joining DataStax, he led worldwide GTM at AWS for two of the company’s highest-revenue database services, helping enterprises adopt next-generation data solutions at scale.

A California native, Ted holds a bachelor’s degree in Math and Economics from UCLA and a master’s degree in Management from Harvard. He is passionate about the future of AI, the intersection of data and automation, and helping businesses unlock the full potential of generative AI.
